PJSL Championship History
- League standings are determined by dual meet record.
- Team trophies are awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place teams each season.
- League TEAM Champions for each season are listed in the chart below.
However, the "League Championship Meet" determines individual & relay event champions, regardless of the team they are on. Individuals and relays earn trophies, medals, and ribbons for 1st - 12th places. No team points are kept at this meet.
Fun Facts:
- We broke away from the Suburban League to form the PennJersey Swim League in 1971.
- Belvidere was the 1st PJSL team league champions in 1971.
- Palmer swim team won more team championships than any other team. Palmer and Wilson swim teams both collapsed but then reconstituted themselves as a new team, Two Rivers Aquatics.
- Nazareth is the newest team to join the league and won their first championship in 2026.
- Between 1977 - 1986, we had two divisions and teams swam 14 meets in one season!!! How did they do that and remain sane? :)
- Belvidere pool has hosted more league championship meets than any other facility.
